Board of Education

Regular meetings of the Voorheesville Board of Education are typically held on the second Monday of every month, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the LGI  (large group instruction room), unless otherwise noted.

The Voorheesville Central School District Board of Education has moved entirely to Board Docs, and all agendas and minutes are now on this resource. You may visit BoardDocs at any time, and as soon as a new agenda is posted, it will be available to view publicly on that site. All of the supplemental links that accompany the Board meetings are here are for your convenience. Agendas are posted online 48 hours before the meeting. Meeting minutes are posted after they have been approved by the Board of Education at the subsequent meeting.

Student Representative Selected

This year, district voters approved a proposition that would seat an ex officio (student representative) to the Board of Education. Senior Tahlia Michels was selected as the first ex officio student representative and will serve throughout the 2022-23 school year. BOE Candidates Elected to Four Year Terms

Tuesday, May 17, 2022 – Voorheesville Central School District voters elected incumbent Argi O’Leary (754 votes) and newcomer Robyn Willoughby (743 votes) to serve on the Board of Education starting July 1, 2022.

New Officers for the 2022-23 School Year

Wednesday, July 6, 2022 – at the Voorheesville Central School District Board of Education Meeting, District Clerk Jessica Tabakian administered the Oath of Office to newly elected board member Robyn Willoughby, and newly reelected board member Argi O’Leary. Superintendent Frank Macri introduced the newly nominated BOE President, Rachel Gilker. BOE member Rob Samson was nominated as Vice President.
