The Voorheesville Central School District will hold in-person voting for the 2023-24 budget and board of education election on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. District residents may vote in the VCSD Middle School foyer, 432 New Salem Rd., Voorheesville.
Polls will be open 2:30-9 p.m.
Qualified voters who will be out of town or unable to vote in person can vote by absentee ballot. You must complete an application to receive a ballot.
If the voter requests the absentee ballot by mail, the district clerk must receive the application by 3 p.m. May 9. Absentee ballots are due to the district by 5 p.m. May 16.
In addition to casting votes for the proposed VCSD school budget and board of education candidates, voters will decide on a school bus proposition, the proposed 2023-24 Voorheesville Public Library budget and elect a library board trustee.

Who Can Vote
Voters must be at least 18 years old, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the Voorheesville Central School District for at least 30 days prior to the vote.
Voters may be required to show proof of residency before voting. If you did not vote last year, please be prepared to provide the clerk with identification. For example, a driver’s license or utility bill.
