After each holiday and extended break, the district has seen a spike in COVID positive cases the first 5-8 days after returning to school. To help mitigate possible school spread, the district will be distributing COVID-19 home test kits prior to the February Break.
This is not mandatory but we do encourage students and staff to utilize these tests prior to returning on February 28.
COVID-19 tests are available at any time, not just during a large distribution time. At any point, staff or families may obtain home testing kits from a school’s main office. The district continues to offer Lab PCR tests through Quadrant Biosciences as well.
COVID-19 home test kit distribution for next week:
Districtwide Pick up
- Date: Tuesday, February 15
- Time: 4:00PM-5:00PM
- Location: Middle/High School Bus Loop
Elementary School Pick up
- Date: Tuesday, February 15
- Time: 9:00AM-10:30AM
- Location: the main loop directly in front of the building.
There will also be tests available during normal student pick up times beginning Tuesday afternoon.
Middle/High School Pick up
- Dates: Tuesday, February 15 through Thursday, February 17
- Time: 8:30AM-1:00PM
- Location: at Middle School or High School Main Office
