Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
VCSD invites parents and students to a focus group discussion on recruiting the new principal at Clayton A. Bouton. The district is hosting the meeting to get feedback on which skills and traits stakeholders value the most for this leadership position. The meeting will be held on Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the LGI.
The information gathered from this focus group will influence the creation of a leadership profile, which will serve as the basis for recruiting the next Clayton A. Bouton High School principal.
VCSD is taking a comprehensive approach to identifying the best candidate to fill this pivotal position, and this focus group is an essential step in the selection process. While the anticipated start date for the new principal is July 1, 2024, we are making every effort to keep the community involved and informed during the recruitment process.
