On July 11, 2023, voters residing within Capital Region BOCES component districts, including Voorheesville, will vote on the construction of a storage building at the Career & Technical Education Center – Schoharie Campus.
BOCES proposes erecting a five-bay, 4,500-square-foot garage to store equipment and materials. Once the equipment from inside the building is moved to the new garage, it will allow BOCES to use the existing storage space to open a new welding program at the Schoharie CTE facility.
There would be no tax impact from building the new storage garage.
Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at various locations throughout the region.
