The Voorheesville Central School District is now requesting proposals for its universal pre-kindergarten program.
Organizations that currently provide services to four-year old children within and closely surrounding the Voorheesville school district and are interested in providing a full-day pre-kindergarten program for up to three classrooms are eligible to apply.
Each pre-kindergarten classroom would have a minimum of 18 students and no more than 20. The Voorheesville Central School District will consider awarding contracts for service to multiple providers.
Organizations and programs interested in applying must meet applicable New York State Education Department Pre-Kindergarten regulations.
This is a renewable bi-annual contract, with an RFP process conducted when required by New York State purchasing laws and regulations. The bi-annually renewable contract is contingent upon adequate performance and the availability of state funds.
