Director’s Note

Along with a very talented and dedicated group of student directors, we have had a ton of fun and laughs guiding these middle schoolers through situations far beyond their years. I certainly apologize if some of your students now know how to go double or nothing, make an eight the hard way, or lay 8 to 5 on the next race at Saratoga, and other assorted vices!

I have to thank Cael Connolly, Elliot Parent, Aleah Peters, Ian Reilly, Natalie Riccio, and Maddy Schamberg for going way out of their comfort zone to portray couples on stage. From sweaty palms to thumb kissing it has been heartwarming to watch them be just middle schoolers, blushing and laughing their way through some of the physicality we have asked of them.

While many are just “here for the slap”, I have been all in for every single moment of this production!
