Three Voorheesville school clubs, the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA), the Visibility Club, and Art Club worked together for three months to make a joint gallery, composed of work done by our students and professional artists in the LGBTQ+ community. Our students used the professional artwork as inspiration to create their own original art.
They researched different artists and poets within the LGBTQ+ community throughout the month of February. The clubs had two joint meetings in March to create the art, and throughout April, students finalized their projects.
