The 2025-26 school budget vote will be held on May 20, from 2:30 to 9 p.m. in the Middle School foyer. At that time, district residents will also vote on two open seats on the school board.
The elected board members will serve a four-year term beginning July 1, 2025.
Board members serve without pay. They attend regular evening meetings once a month, as well as special meetings and work sessions. Board members also serve on one or more Board Committees. Their duties are diverse, ranging from developing and adopting the annual budget to approving policy.

Current/Former Employer(s): 2020 to present, I am the Chief Strategy Officer at the Children’s Museum at Saratoga. From 2017 to 2020, I was the Director of Development at the Children’s Museum of Science and Technology. Before that, I spent several years at home with my children.
Educational Background: I hold a BS in Psychology (Behavioral Neuroscience) from the University of Buffalo (SUNY)
Civic Involvement and Activities (list up to five): I am a parishioner at St. Matthew’s Church and have been involved with many school and community groups through my kids’ activities, including Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Voorheesville Youth Lacrosse, as well as various booster clubs for football, soccer and basketball. I am an avid knitter and weaver and am a member of the Hudson Mohawk Weavers Guild. Through my service to the BOE, I serve on the policy, curriculum, and audit committees.
Formerly a VCSD Board Member? Yes. I have almost completed my first term and am excited to begin the next.
Additional Comments: I am happy to serve the community once again as a member of the Board of Education. My family has called this wonderful community home for more than 16 years. Three of my children are Voorheesville graduates, with the fourth completing middle school this year. I am grateful for the opportunity to live in a place filled with caring neighbors and community members. I look forward to the next four years!
