Clayton A. Bouton High School has once again been named one of the top-performing high schools in the Capital Region by U.S. News and World Report. The No. 2 ranking is based on college readiness, state assessment performance, underserved student achievement, and graduation rates.
Voorheesville Superintendent Frank Macri says the entire school community has reason to be proud.
“This recognition reflects the collective effort of our entire school community,” Macri said. “The performance of our seniors—and the success of our school—is the result of the commitment, dedication, and support each of you provides every day, at every grade level.”

The annual rankings evaluate more than 24,000 public schools nationwide and are one of the most comprehensive measures of high school performance.
Macri notes this achievement reflects the district’s comprehensive effort to help students thrive. He thanked faculty and staff.
“I want to thank you for the countless ways you contribute to student learning and growth. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, or through the many supports that are provided behind the scenes, this achievement is truly a shared success,” Macri said.
