In an effort to improve the tax collection process, the Voorheesville Central School District will offer an in-person option for residents to submit 2026-27 school tax payments each Friday beginning Sept. 11. Payments will be accepted from 1 to 5 p.m. at the high school lobby entrance. This option will be available in addition to online tax payments.
Offering in-person payment hours is one way the district is working to provide a more convenient and accessible tax collection option for residents.
Paying in person also allows residents to avoid the 2.50% SB Payment Processing user fee for credit and debit card payments, as well as the $0.95 fee charged for ACH/e-check transactions. No portion of these fees is retained by the district.
In-person payments may be made by check or money order only. Cash will not be accepted. Residents using this option should bring their tax bill and make checks or money orders payable as directed on the bill.
Tax bills and additional information about school tax payments can be found on the district’s Budget and Finance webpage
