Dear VCSD Families,
I am writing to inform you about an incident that occurred in the high school that we reported to the Albany County Police today. We commend the students who came forward with information about a violent threat that led to a student arrest. After learning of the threat, the district promptly notified law enforcement which took over the investigation. At no time were students in danger. The safety and security of our school community remains the number one priority.
