VCSD is celebrating the successful launch of ParentSquare, the district’s new unified communications platform.
Since its rollout, ParentSquare has been helping principals, faculty, coaches, and club advisors stay connected with our families in a way that makes communication more streamlined and responsive.
In September alone:
- Over 300 posts were shared.
- Over 2600 direct messages were exchanged.
Families are using ParentSquare to receive updates, ask questions, and stay informed about their child’s school experience. The platform supports two-way messaging and allows for dedicated communication, helping ensure families receive the information that matters most to them.
Features That Keep Us Connected
ParentSquare offers flexible options for message delivery. Families can choose to receive updates as a daily digest or in real time. Urgent messages—such as weather-related delays or emergency notifications—are always delivered immediately.
Parents and guardians also have the option to join groups for programs their child is involved in, such as athletic teams, clubs, or classroom activities. These groups provide another layer of connection and help families stay informed and engaged.
Parents are encouraged to download the free ParentSquare app to their mobile phone. The app makes it easy to access messages, respond to updates, and stay connected on the go.
