Here are the important days for the coming school year:
- September 1 – Superintendent’s Conference Day
- September 2 – Superintendent’s Conference Day
- September 6 – Labor Day
- September 7 – Rosh Hashanah
- September 8 – First Day of School
- September 16 – Yom Kippur
- October 8 – Early Release Drill
- October 11 – Columbus Day
- November 11 – Veterans Day
- November 24-26 – Thanksgiving Recess
- December 24-31 – Holiday Recess
- January 17 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- January 25-28 – Regents Testing
- February 21-25 – February Recess
- March 11 – Superintendent’s Conference Day
- March 29-April 5 – Grades 3-8 ELA Testing
- April 15-22 – Spring Break
- April 26-May 4 – Grades 3-8 Math Testing
- May 26 – Superintendent’s Conference Day
- May 30 – Memorial Day
- June 20 – Juneteenth
- June 24 – Regents Testing/Rating Day, Last Day of School, (1/2 Day for Grades K-5)
May 27 and May 31 will be contingency days. If only 1 snow/emergency day is used, the school will be in session on May 31. If only 2 snow/emergency days are used, the school will be in session on May 27.
