District statement regarding May 10 board of education meeting video

To our community,

Last night, the Board of Education held its first in-person meeting since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We were thrilled to welcome back the public to our in-person meetings once again. Unfortunately, due to a problem with our recording equipment, we were not able to fully record the board meeting for those who were not able to attend the meeting due to time or space constraints. We are looking into the cause of this problem to attempt to ensure it does not happen again in the future. The district is also looking at different options for recording and streaming meetings for those who are not able to attend due to limited spacing capacity due to COVID-19 restrictions. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these technological challenges, and hope to see you at the polls on May 18th for the annual budget vote and board of education elections.
