Mar. 15 | Positive COVID case in the Middle School community
The district learned about one new positive case of COVID-19 in our school community on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
The district was informed that an individual associated with the middle school tested positive for COVID-19.
Based on information from the Albany County Department of Health, there was no exposure at the school.
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other privacy laws restrict the district from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.
The district continues to follow all prevention protocols in accordance with guidelines from the New York State Department of Health and CDC — this includes a thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all school buildings.
