Board of Education welcomes Timothy Kremer

The Board of Education is pleased to announce that after careful consideration, they have appointed Mr. Timothy Kremer to serve on the Voorheesville Board of Education, effective January 17, 2020. He fills the seat vacated by Michael Canfora’s resignation until the annual meeting on May 19, 2020, at which time a person will be elected to fill the remainder of Michael Canfora’s term.

Mr. Kremer recently retired as the executive director of the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) where he provided advocacy and consulting services to member school boards for 22 years.  Tim and his wife Jaye have been Voorheesville residents for over 21 years, and his three sons are graduates of Clayton A. Bouton High School.

“I am honored to have been appointed to the Voorheesville Central School Districts Board of Education.  At the end of December I retired as the executive director of the New York State School Boards Association which I proudly served since 1998.  My appointment is an extraordinary opportunity for me to join a terrific team in my hometown.  I cannot imagine a more honorable way for me to be of service to the Voorheesville community.”

We thank Mr. Kremer for his volunteerism and look forward to working together.
