School Budget Vote

Thank you Voorheesville Voters, the Voorheesville Central School District Budget has Passed!

Voorheesville Central School District residents on June 16 approved the district’s 2020-21 school budget by a vote of 1173 to 409, a margin of 74 percent.

The approved $26 million budget reflects a 2.4 percent spending increase over the current year’s budget and carries a 3 percent tax levy increase.

Voorheesville voters approved a bus proposition by a margin of 1135 yes votes to 433 no votes.

The passed proposition allows the district to purchase three 66-passenger school buses for a cost of $236,000.

Residents elected Patricia Putman and Timothy Kremer who will serve four-year terms on the Board of Education.

Argi O'Leary will serve on the Board of Education for the two years remaining from a resignation.
