• Asbestos Notification

    In accordance with the EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency response Act of 1987 (40 CFR Part 763), the Voorheesville Central School District put in place a management plan to identify and manage asbestos building materials. Periodic surveillance is done every six months.

    Asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) were removed from the Voorheesville Elementary School as part of the school district's 2007 Capital Project.

    The District's Asbestos Management plan is kept on file in the District Office. These records are available for review during regular business hours or by making a special appointment. For more information, contact Michael Goyer at 765-2381, ext. 508.
