A letter from Superintendent Frank Macri:
Dear VCSD Parents and Guardians,
On Sept. 5, our high school principal, Kristin DuGuay, notified us that she is resigning from VCSD to take a position as an assistant principal in the Shenendehowa School District. Ms. DuGuay will be with the district until October 9th. We appreciate Ms. DuGuay’s work during her tenure in our school district and wish her the best in her new role.
We understand that any change occurring just days before the start of a new school year is disconcerting, but rest assured, our administrative team has jumped into action to provide a seamless transition for our returning students and staff. We have a solid administrative team in place, and they are already exploring all options to name an interim principal.
As soon as we have a plan finalized, I will share that information with you directly through SchoolMessenger, and we will also post information on our district website. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please reach out to me at fmacri@voorheesville.org.
