Voorheesville Middle School Principal Jennifer Drautz
Ms. Drautz began as the principal of Voorheesville Middle School on August 13, 2015. Before coming to Voorheesville, Ms. Drautz was a House and Grade Level principal at Maple Avenue Middle School in the Saratoga Springs School District for five years.
Before Saratoga, Ms. Drautz was 6-12 assistant principal at Rensselaer Middle School and Rensselaer High School as well as the district grant writer and family court representative. Prior to becoming an administrator, she taught high school social studies for thirteen years in Watervliet and Rensselaer.
In 2015, Ms. Drautz was selected as the Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year by the School Administrators Association of New York State and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
Ms. Drautz earned her Bachelor of Arts in History/Secondary Social Studies with a minor in Sociology from SUNY Cortland and her Master of Arts in History/Political Science from the College of St. Rose. She earned an additional 30 masters level credits from the College of St. Rose in Educational Administration. She holds permanent NYS certification as a School District Administrator, School Administrator and Supervisor, School Business Administrator, and Secondary Social Studies teacher.
