Absentee ballot applications are now available for the Voorheesville Central School District’s budget vote on May 21, 2019.
You may request an absentee ballot by filling out the application, and by providing a letter addressed to the District Clerk, requesting the ballot. The letter should include the date of the vote, the reason you are unable to vote, your home address, and your signature.
You must complete an application to receive an absentee ballot. The application must be received by the District Clerk at least 7 days before the election (May 14, 2019) if it is to be mailed to the applicant.
All absentee ballots must be returned to the district clerk by 5 p.m. the day of the school budget vote – Tuesday, May 21.
Residents who will be unable to vote in person can vote by absentee ballot. You may obtain an absentee ballot by sending a letter to the District Clerk, Voorheesville Central Schools, 432 New Salem Road
Voorheesville, NY 12186, with the following information:
Date of the vote
Reason you are unable to vote
Your home address
Your signature on the letter
If you would like an absentee ballot mailed to you, you must submit a letter of request to the District Clerk's Office at least one week before that year's vote date. You may obtain a ballot after this date by submitting your letter, in person, to the District Clerk.
Completed absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk's Office by 5 p.m. on the day of the vote.
